About This Project

This project is based in a small market town in Lincolnshire, UK.  Although there are fair numbers of young people, many still feel physically isolated even with access to social media technologies.  Many will certainly say they have no real voice, and if they do, it's drowned out by older members of the community.

So Lincolnshire Police approached Monks' Dyke Technology College to see if there was a way of bringing these groups together, harnessing social media, and podcasting in the first instance, to find out what young people want to say.

The first group of students, all around 14 years old, came up with the name 'Homies on the Beat' as a way of combining young people and the Police.  It's a 'first' for both partners - what will happen and how it will develop is anyone's guess.  We'd certainly welcome your views...

it is abit plain to make this better you add more colour and more detail. also at the top you could do the police checkers.

Hi Jack, As this is the free version of Podbean, we can only do certain things to the graphics - great ideas, but not possible with the option we have.
