One drink too many…

Posted by homiesonthebeat on 20th May 2010

A group of girls in the 'Homies' team created an improvised role play around a party that didn't go quite as planned.  It carries on with the theme of underage drinking.  The girls have been considering how younger girls are attracted to binge drinking.

The party starts well but it has tragic consequences.

The piece was put together in just one hour with a further 20 minutes or so of editing and production.  It was produced by Emily, Ellie, Rachel, Sam, Shanon and Kiera.

Josh is part of the Year 9 group at Monks' Dyke that are the 'Homies' .  Several students have created their own graphic for the page and Josh's is the first to make it to the site.  It follows a few weeks of students looking at the issues of binge drinking and particularly how young girls are being attracted to and affected by alcohol.
